Winzerin Birgit Wiederstein Rozae Made My Day" Rose 2023

70% Merlot, 30% Pinot Noir

It wouldn't be too far a stretch of the imagination to substitute the "Rosey" on this Lichtenstein-esque label with an all-caps "POW!" A spicy blend of biodynamically grown pinot noir and just a touch of merlot to give this punchy rosé a softer touch. We love the departure this young winemaker makes in style, we only wish she'd kept the regional liter format so we could enjoy it even more!

We get red fruits and spice on the nose, with more of the same on the palate all carried by a juicy acidity and overall brightness. Finishes crisp and round, with lovely minerality.
