Baron de Ley Gran Reserva 2016

95% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano

Clean and bright with a medium robe and a ruby red color. On the nose it is complex with aromas of red fruits, sweet spices with a balsamic background. After a powerful attack the sensation of soft, supple volume gradually extends across the palate for a creamy finish. The aftertaste reminds you of the red berry fruit mingled with hints of wild herbs.  Good Rioja typicity in this 2016 Gran Reserva, which has seen 24 months in American and French oak barrels and then a further 36 months in bottle before release. Soft and rich in style, with plump dark plum and blackberry fruit, some creamy vanilla oak, ripe tannins and a toasty finish. Easy to enjoy.
