Notre Dame des Pallières Sablet Rouge “L’Olivet” 2023

60% Grenache, 40% Syrah

The Domaine’s vines of Sablet  are located on the slopes overlooking the village for Grenache and are a minimum of 40 years old.  The Sablet appellation is located in the east of the Côtes du Rhône valley, about 12 miles east of Orange.  The region is named after the medieval village of Sablet, which is known for its sandy soils.  The sand gives the wines a concentrated but silky quality, as well as a freshness.

Very beautiful purple color, bright brilliant. Nose of fresh fruit, intense, on morello cherry, blackberry, red fruit coulis. The palate is fleshy, round, crisp, full of fruit, with matter, without hardness and silky tannins.  14% ABV
