90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay.
The Dumonts have owned vineyards in this area for over two hundred years and today Bernard Dumont, along with his cousin and his nephew, work together to produce champagne exclusively from their own 22 hectares. The soils are a geological extension of those in Chablis, namely kimmeridgian chalky clay.
The Champagne displays a pale golden color with fine, persistent bubbles that rise elegantly in the glass. On the nose, the Cuvée Dolce is aromatic and inviting, with an expressive bouquet of ripe stone fruits such as peach and apricot, along with hints of pear and apple. There are also subtle notes of honey, brioche, and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture. The sweetness is well-balanced by a lively acidity, giving the wine a refreshing and vibrant character. The fruit flavors are rich and lush, with peach, apricot, and baked apple being prominent, followed by hints of honey and a touch of candied citrus. The bubbles are fine and persistent, adding to the wine’s overall elegance and freshness. 12% ABV
