Chateau Climens Asphodele 2019

100% Semillon

At first, the wine needs a little air to fully express itself. The nose of Asphodele
shows off a great, beautifully mature wine. It is balanced and complex with a
remarkable finesse. The aromas are very subtle, refined, and reminiscent of the
powdery-lemony impression of the magnolia and white pear (a feature common
to all the vintages of Asphodele whatever their age). White flowers and fruits
are ascertained with barely mature tropical fruits, mango and pineapple. On
the palate, it has a beautiful roundness but the main impression is the one of a
cascade : its structure is crystalline, the finish is long, tense and fragrant.  12% ABV
