Chateau D'Arche Grand cru Classe Sauternes 2015

90% Semillon,  10% Sauvignon Blanc

Château d’Arche built in 1611, is located in the heart of the village of Sauternes, the most famous of the five villages where exceptional wines are produced.  Off of 45+ Year old vines.  Natural yeast fermentation in Thermo-regulated vats, then 12 to 18 months aging in French oak barrels (50% new). On the nose, the wine offers up aromas of mandarin liqueur, apricot, peach, lemon curd, white flowers and sweet spicy scents of vanilla with hints of oak and a pastry note. Very rich and generous on the palate yet retaining wonderful acidity. This wine is characterized by a balanced style and beautifully lingering finish.  13.5% ABV
