Forlong Le Petit Tinto Blend 2019

The Forlong Tinto 2019 is a blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Syrah, and 10% Tintilla de Rota. Earthy and ripe red fruit are the first things noticed on the nose.  Concentrated flavors of strawberries, plums, and raspberries, black pepper, licorice and a hint of smoke. The more time the wine spent out in the open the more savory it seemed to become. Lastly the finish is long and it paired wonderfully with some roasted mushroom pasta.
