Saperavi is a teinturier variety (meaning it has red flesh as well as red skin) from Georgia. This wine is from the Rhône Valley but as the variety isn’t native to France, the wine must be labelled as 'Vin de France’. Labelling laws aside, it’s deep and dark in the glass, with gorgeous notes of savoury spice and white pepper, black cherries and vanilla, and is super supple. Big and bold, but with European restraint.  

This wine has no added Sulfites, only naturally occurring.
