Red wine produced by Thierry Germain of Domaine des Roches Neuves in Saumur, in the Loire Valley. The grapes come from very old, free-range vines aged in oak barrels for about 18 months. The nose is rich with hints of undergrowth, with earthy notes of humus and herbaceousness, while on the palate it is very refined with silky tannin.
