Peregrine Central Otago Pinot Noir 2016

100% Pinot Noir

Fermented in open top fermenters and matured for 10 months in French oak barrels.  Matured for 10 months in French oak barrels with 25% new Oak.  Dark floral and spice scents lead to wonderful red and dark fruits, with a lovely seam of minerality supported by supple tannins.  There’s plenty of plump red-currant and blueberry fruit, though, along with violets and a peppery spice. The palate is supple and juicy with a soft grip of savory tannins and a tangy, exotic spiced finish.13.5% ABV
